p.s. Your soup today sounds vaguely familiar, and very Eastern European in origin. I am a soup fiend. It’s really all I make, mostly because, and I’ve always said this and now you’ve said it too, it’s a canvas, and you can mess around ad infinitum, there are no rules. I make soup for the same reasons I don’t bake. Too many rules to follow with baking!
