People can be living, breathing hand grenades and one never knows if the pin has been taken out. I may want a foxhole buddy but not walking, talking live ammo.
My advice?
Don’t mistake emotion for passion…big difference in communication.

Great advice. I’ve had friends who were so mercurial, I just couldn’t predict what they were going to do next. Eventually I had to cut them loose.
And those mercurial types get worse with age. We really have to fight for quality in everything otherwise you lose a limb.
